Behind the scene

A desire to stage Kannada dramas brought some youngsters together 32 years back and sowed the seeds of Kannada Sangha Bahrain. The Sangha has grown in strength over the years. The drama wing of the Sangha has taken steps to revive the theatre and its efforts have seen tremendous success. Despite the grueling work schedules of members, there is great enthusiasm to join this theatre movement in Bahrain. Following the “Kivudana Kitaapati” of 2008, two dramas – one in Kannada and another Tulu – are planned for 2009.
